I don’t RP, but you know what’s funny is that I saw this and thought it was a neat thing to know, but then didn’t reblog it, and then remembered it now when I reblogged the previous post. Then I thought “What am I doing am I crazy I have to go reblog that!”

OK, so, here’s the deal.
You draw, and what you draw is worthwhile. Even if there are people around to tell you it’s not (and at some point, there will be). Even if it goes largely ignored, or unseen, even if you seek approval from people who don’t acknowledge what you do. Even if it doesn’t tick the boxes you think it should. The real, true value of your work is only measured by two things— you yourself, and what I’m telling you right now.
It’s worthwhile. You are, too. Nobody can do what you’re doing right now. Nobody can wring out your potential energy for themselves. Everything you do is yours. Everything you conceive of? Is yours. And you stand up for it, and believe in it, and you immortalise it, no matter what. No matter how it looks or how much noise it makes. Take criticism because you want to feed your creature, not because you want to kill it. Seek out what you need to keep it alive. Bend it, change it, walk it often. It’s yours. It’s important.
That’s why it makes me so mad when folk try to tell you what to do with your stuff. Not because it makes me feel small, because that doesn’t change the fact that I’m big. Most of the time, I know I’m big. But not everybody knows they are, too. And because it’s basically someone saying, here’s what I want, but I’m too chicken to go get it, so you do it for me, and strangle yourself while you’re doing it.
And you have to be brave not to bend to that.

Flame Princess and Finn
Here’s a drawing I did a month ago, this was pretty much just me doodling and playing with GIMP’s brushes. It was fun though, I haven’t done something random like that in a while. XD
